Motueka is a picturesque, quiet town that provides an ideal, focused environment for intensive study. While it is peaceful, there are numerous outdoor activities, sports, and recreational opportunities available.

For city amenities, Nelson City is only a 45-minute drive away, offering a variety of cafes, restaurants, and clubs.

Please book your international travel with Nelson (South Island) as your final destination.

Airport Meet-Up


You will be met at Nelson Airport and transferred by car directly to Motueka.

Initial Settling-In

You will have a few days of free time to settle in, meet NAC staff and fellow students, and relax after your journey.

Driving in New Zealand (Important)

Many students choose to purchase a car.

Please be aware that NZ road rules are strict.

You can drive on your overseas licence for a maximum of 12 months, after which you must apply for a New Zealand driver's licence.
